Another wombat treated for mange early this morning. We suspect it’s Stu, a wombat treated once last year before he disappeared. One dose Bravecto is not enough so it’s starting from scratch again and hopefully we can give him two follow up doses. Lucky for him he has most of the fur on his back but his front legs and torso is covered in thick plaques If you want to support us in helping them please do. Here, Australian Geographic follows her on one of her typical weekends, which involves looking for joeys in roadkill and treating a small population of wombats with cydectin that helps get rid of mange.
