Baby elephants are very curious - one might even say nosy. While some of the orphans in our care flop right down and go to sleep at night, others take a while to settle. This time, its Kinyei who isn’t ready to call it a night, instead enjoying a surreptitious slurp from the pail as a nightcap. You might also spy freshly-cut branches and a ball in her stable, offering fun and food during the night in equal measure. They were endlessly intrigued by the umbrella and less enthusiastic about getting wet. — Spencer and Junior are the smallest members of our orphan herd. While we are best known for raising orphaned elephants and rhinos, we offer a family and a wild future to any creature in need.
